Does any software exist to allow us to simply enter the postcode for an address instead of going through the drawn out process currently required in TOMTOM2?
Our rep is making 20 stops a day and he's spending more time 'finding' addresses than driving!
Please help or maybe recommend alternative software to TomTom2.
Thanks

Alan,
One way to make it easier when out on the road would be to prepare a POI overlay, on a PC in the office, for the addresses to be visited. This would be transferred to the PocketPC and accessed in TTN2 using Navigate to | Point of interest.
Do you have any mapping software on a PC which will give you the longitude and latitude corresponding to a post code?

Also get your rep to put in customer address details in his contacts this can be done on his PC, synch the contacts.
On the PPC open the contacts hold the stylus on a contact for 2 secs and then select Navigate To |

Dear Richard,
I thought using the POI would be the way to do it but I'm not sure how to convert postcode locations in autoroute 2002/3 into POI files? I've read about exporting push pin files or something but never managed to!
Your help is appreciated.
Regards

Alan,
I have written a Windows program called CodeSearch which will enable you to enter postcodes and extract the coordinates into a TomTom POI overlay. The program uses the overlays created by George Spanellis, these are available in the POI section of this website. My program is in the Downloads area and has instructions on how to run it in the help file.
