Hi
Looking for some assistance with a new GPSmap60SCx.
1. How do you manage the microSD card ie erase, format, capacity left etc
2. I've got a 60CS with a copy of TOPO map GB and loaded ok. Tried to load to the 60CSx and get an error message "Can't unlock maps". But the software is unlocked ok on the PC.
any ideas gratefully recieved.....
Thanks |

Is the TOPO map yours? You will be able to view the data on a PC so long as any valid Unlock keycode has been entered. However, you will only be able to view the data on a Garmin for which the product has been specifically unlocked, using the device's unique Unlock code.
If you own both 60CS and 60CSx then you can contact Garmin to get an unlock code for the CSx. Garmin's policy says that you can only do this if you own both devices. _________________ Tim |

I have a Garmin iQue 3600 and obtained the free CityNavigator Europe v8 Update DVD.
Then you then go online and pay $88 to unlock the maps for the specific unit.
However, yesterday I bought a Garmin GPS 60CS off eBay[display model!!!] I have just been online and using my second unlock code, have just installed CityNavigator Europe v8 on the 60CS. Works fine!
Looks as if you will have to go online and unlock for second unit. |

Have a read of the instructions here. Be patient; for me at least, the Garmin pages are very slow at the moment. _________________ Tim |
