Feedback of DB changes, plus TT1 fix options?

I recently submitted a change to the database - the removal of a camera that's no longer present.

Should I expect an email confirmation of this either now, or when it's confirmed, and if so how long does this typically take? I had a few issues getting connected to the submission page in the first place so it's possible it didn't go through. If so I can resubmit it but clearly want to avoid adding repeat entries.

Also as a TomTom One user I can't use the PIO Capture utility. I believe I can add locations using the POI functionlity built in to the TT1, but this doesn't seem well documented and it's not clear when the fix is applied. Any info from existing users would be much appreciated.
