If its any help I have the Arkon powered PDA mount and 2210 combination and the 38xx/39xx usb lead that came with it connects and works ok with my 2210.
My only advice would be not to buy this mount bundle from Expansys - I was missing several items from the "bundle" and they still haven`t sent them all to me after nearly two weeks! |

Hi, I am thinking of buying a new Ipaq (2210/2215) and was wondering if the power supply connector that came with my Arkon CM506 mount would fit and power it. The connector is meant to power iPAQ 38/3900 series. Does anyone know if its the same type of connector, same wiring and voltage as the 38/3900's?
Thanks, Ian. _________________ TomTom Go 520, HTC Wildfire with CoPilot Live Premium UK & CoPilot Live Standard USA |

The 221x has an identical base connector as 3800/3900/5000 series iPAQs - though the physical size of the main unit is different meaning that some cradles do not fit physically.

On the same topic I have purchased a bluetooth GPS BT - 308 to use with my 2210 which came with a car charger. There is a lead which will fit into the 2210 but I'm not sure if it is suitable. The adapter rating is 5v 1.2 amps and positive pole centre. Any help apprecited. |

Yes the charger for the BT308 will work OK charging the 2210.
You can buy a splitter cable from www.pc-mobile.net which will connect the the car charger at one end and the iPaq and BTGPS at the other and charge both at the same time. _________________ Mike Barrett |
