GNS GPS5843 RDS/TMC

I have just acquired one of these GPS units and would like to know which version of TomTom I need to use with it on my iPAQ 2210.

I am currently using TomTom Navigator 5.xx with a normal bluetooth GPS receiver.

Is that unit a wired or BT GPS?

It can be wired or BT. I'll be using it on BT though.

The doumentation with this GPS unit is a single sheet with data about the unit and some very basic set-up instructions. There's not even any information on the GNS website re what software to use etc. I find this unusual for a German company.

I have e-mailed them for info but they are very slow at replying.

I have a GNS TMC GPS Mouse but to use it with any non-TMC aware application you ned to install and run a driver which switches off the TMC functionality.

OK thanks Darren the thing that is bugging me is that I can't use Traffic on my PDA because I can't connect to my BT GPS receiver and BT phone simultaneously to get the GPRS data, as only one BT device can connect to my PDA at a time.

Or is there a way to do it?

You're probably going to say use a wired GPS aren't you?
