|
|
Hi,
I recently bought an i3 from maplins which was advertised with the speed camera data base(one of the main reasons i bought from them).
When unpacking the unit i found the data base for speed camera's on a supplied cd rom,now i have followed the instructions to the letter but my p o i loader doesn't want to know and i cant unzip the files off the cd.
I am a complete novice on my pc and wanted a nice easy plug in and dowmload database ala tom tom,can anyone please explain a simple way to install this data or an alternative method
the i3 is version 8 i believe and the disc supplied says its suitable for tomtom go,magellan and garmin |

you need to extract the zip files to a folder on the hard drive.
then use the loader to load them onto the unit. |

if you're using poi loader version 2 then they won't work. garmin changed the software and the csv files need to be edited slightly. simply remove the first line (where it says latitude, longitude, name etc) and they should load
