gps program use to measure track times(driving)

i've been looking for a pocket pc program that i can use with my gps reciever to measure 0-60, 1/4mile times ect.

As the GPS data only refreshes every second its not suitable for track use over this distance where you need mili second accuracy, it is possible from an inductive speed probe and some exotic hardware/ software but it will cost a significant amount of cash circa 4K UK for the programe to develop the application and hardware for use on a PDA - look at data logging the speed to a PC (laptop), and calibrate the signal to the GPS speed to make sure its accurate when on a straight and level road, I can supply more details if you want to e-mail me or PM - Mike
