I am new to GPS. I have a Palm Life Drive and TTN%. Everything seems to have installed ok but when I try to connect to the navigator via BT, my Life Drive sees the TTN% device and asks for a Pass Key. When I input to pass key given in my user's manual, (0000), I get the message unable to add the device. I have asked Tom Tom, but have not gotten any response yet.
Any idea's
Thanks for any advise/assistance

I know it sounds silly, but have you tried the option 'other wired'??
I believe that this has worked for some others that had issues with their BT device _________________ -------------------------------------------------------

Thanks for the idea, I checked out my Life Drive and I don't appear to have a Other wired option on my Life Drive. The Life Drive "see's" the TTN Receiver, but it appears that the TTN Receiver does not accept the pass key provide from Tom

Lutz,
Thanks for the response. Tried 0183, nope. Hopefully Tom Tom will respond soon and provide a good pass key. They don't appear to be very fast in responding to e-mail.

I don't think it is a TomTom problem though. The LifeDrive not recognizing the BT receiver sounds more like a Palm OS issue. Can you connect to other BT devices? _________________ Lutz

Actually, the Life Drive does see the TTN receiver, it also works with my razor cell phone. When I then enter the pass key provided by Tom Tom, it fails to connect. It appears to be a problem with the TTN device accepting the pass key number.
