|
|
I notice that in the Plus services, on the left hand side of the screen there are free scenic routes advertised which appear to be itineries that have been constructed but I cant for the life of me find out how to get to a screen where I can download them.
Does anyone know how to do it? I bet its obvious but I cant see it! _________________ TomTom Go 520, HTC Wildfire with CoPilot Live Premium UK & CoPilot Live Standard USA |

It does state "a plus service for the Rider" so I guess its intended for the two wheelers - not those with PDA etc - Mike |

You tweaked my interest, so I took a look...
In the plus services, I found a "Routes" section, which says "Scenic Routes are now available with a RIDER promotion! To activate your promotion, check out the flyer "Ready for more" in your TomTom RIDER box. " - so I took a guess, and entered "RIDER" into the "Activate your TomTom Promotion" box, and hey presto, a load of routes to download.
Cheers,
Steve. |

Steve is right, it does work.
All the routes do state that they are for bikes though so I imagine that some of the roads will be hard to pass for cars?? _________________ -------------------------------------------------------

Also, the routes were optimised for the NAVTEQ maps supplied with the RIDER, so they may not quite 'marry up' with TA maps. _________________ Tim |

Sounds like the norm for a TomTom route on my PDA. |
