POI FOR FRANCE - EURO DISNEY ETC...

Hi there,

Were can i get hold of POI for France for the MRE map??

I would like petrol stations, supermarkets, shopping centres, theme parks??

Any ideas where i can download these from or does any one want to share??

POI handler downloaded a few of them... (however you have to pay for sum)

already tried the other.... thanks for you help.

Theres some good ones on this site or you will need to get hold of a POI.DAT for the french map as the one that comes with the MROE is blank.

Just another question.... (where is it going to stop!!)

I downloaded some POI for FRANCEand added them to the GB PLUS file as stated in the instructions for the POI but ever time on place them in the folder these will show but when i remove and then put the SD card back in the PC these are gone!!

i have tried it with the USB lead and it does the same!!!

do i need POI.Dat file as above?? I have a POI file in GB Plus??

No... its a brand new GO 500 SD card MRE - with the Paris map on there also... I can add POI into the PARIS folder and they work perfect for in Paris... but as i say when i add them into the GB_Plus (cant remeber the correct format) these appear to add ok, but when i then restart the TOM TOM or do this via an SD card reader then remove the card and reconnect these disappear!!!

i dunno why it does this!! strange!

Please help... am i added these into the incorrect location??

i just dont understand why they dissappear?
