Hi, i'm due to upgrade my phone soon, and quite like the look of the MDA vario. Currently I've got the TTN5 upgrade on my ipaq (Genuine copy!), what i want to know is a couple of questions....

1, Will it just go straight on the vario, or will i have to re-register the tomtom copy I have?

2, Are there any known problems using / setting up tomtom on the vario? (the tomtom website dosent mention it as a compatible model, just thought it wise to ask)

3, If i'm trying to use a bluetooth headset and bluetooth GPS reciever at the same time, are there any conflicts? (i dont want to go down this road if its going to be more trouble than its worth....)

Sorry if my questions seem a bit daft, but once i get stuff working, I tend to leave well alone, so i'm not as up on all of this as maybe I should be...

Thanks for any help in advance.

1.Guess you will need to register on a new device.

2.Flawless on mine. See you have TTN5.2 already, you will pair BT GPS to com6 on the Vario and this will be available under "other BT" in the TTN config. Tomtom don't acknowledge support the dual core processor in the Vario, but I have no issues after 3 months.

3.Sorry, no experience.
