I have two HP iPaqs, one for home and one for business (long story). What I was wondering was if I was able to get the wired TTNav and install the software on both iPaqs. That would mean I could switch the GPS and memory card between the two PDAs for whenever I wanted to use it, rather than carry an extra PDA around. Is there anything to stop me doing this (software registration, GPS locks to only one serial number of PDA)? AFAIK the license for the software should be okay as I can obviously only use one iPaq connected to the GPS at any one time. |

The iPaqs are 2790 and 5550, both Win2003 I think. I was looking at getting the TomTom Navigation 5 (wired rather than bluetooth). |

As long as you have the map (license is for teh map, not for the free app) installed on one SD card, and swap SD card between devices, depending on which you use, you are within your license agreement.
Just remember that Tomtom assumes you have only one device. The last activated device is the active one. _________________ GO1005
