Slip Sliding

Don't know if I'm being picky here but.....
when I go round corneres or roundabouts, the direction arrow seems to slip and slide round and take a couple of seconds to correct itself.

Is there a setting which I can change to make this better or is it just a 'feature'.

Usually happens if you have too much 'clutter' on screen e.g POI's
