garmin i3 troubles

hi i have a garmin i3 it fell off dashboard onto carpet but now it keeps thinking it is at lowestoft instead where i am at norwich distance 20 miles i tried to make it go home it traveled home then when i swiched off and put it on again it was back at lowestoft 20 miles away!!,
is there any way i can make it work correctly and see it wher it is at my home when im there, and not think it is 20 miles away

Hmm - try a hard reset - with unit off: hold down both the left-hand button and the central 'wheel' whilst then turning unit on (ie. holding down all 3 buttons simultaneously). Then leave unit switched on with a clear view of the sky until it obtains satellite lock (hopefully).
