|

I'm running TomTom 5.21 on an iPAQ.
Today I entered a postcode and found that my TomTom 5 seems to have reverted to part postcodes rather than full 7 digit postcodes. I don't recall using postcodes since the upgrade to 5.21 - previously (after creating the tomtom folder) I had full postcodes working fine.
I've had a look through the iPAQ and the tomtom folder is still there in the root of the SD card, but I can't easily see the ZIP folder that should contain the postcodes.
Where should this folder/file be?
Can I just install the ZIP folder from the CD on its own (I upgraded from tomtom 3) or do I have to reinstall the whole thing again, possibly loosing my favourites? |

I know its a different way but when you click Navigate to..., then press the Right arrow button, there should be a postcode thing there. You can do full postcode searches there if I remember correctly.
Sorry if this hasnt helped but this is the way I do my full postcode searches. _________________ Tcepser

You should be able to install the Zip Folder from the Map CD.
If you go, via the menu, to the Install GB Map, there should also be an Install Postcodes Option. _________________ Richard

Thanks Oldboy, I was having the same trouble myself.
It was driving me crazy :D
Loaded the zip file onto my sd card works a treat.
Thanks again

no need to put on internal memory. Only reason that that also works, is that there is a TomTom folder in My Documents as well. _________________ GO1005
