Could somebody point me in the right direction to help me sort this one please ? I am travelling down to a campsite in Portugal this Summer. I have the address and no doubt will use this to navigate there safely. However, the site has also sent me GPS co ordinates, namely
N39:4545 W09.01.60. Is there a relatively easy way to convert these for actual easy use ?

After you got the coordinates in the proper format (yours isn't consistent) you can put them into a ITN file and use in TTN5

I see....thanks. Actually, that's also how it is shown in the Alan Rogers European 2006 campsite guide, so I assume that they are doing something wrong ? If so, I would like to point it out to them , but not sure what to say....any Campers out there who could do this ?!

If you are using a PPC then generate a TT POI using OS GPS Converter as discussed here -

http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=25211&start=0

Note that lat and Long have to be in WGS84 or you will have to convert them. So if they are in some local datum then things get even more complicated. The guide should make it clear what datum they are using.

Your format probably is DD:MM:SS and there is some punctuation missing.
