Hi,
I am falling into the EBAY trap, there are, as you all know CD's on ebay with stuff you can get for free from the web. Such as splash screens etc.
I have found all this stuff the only thing i am missing is the celebrity voices, I have no idea where to get them from apart from John Cleese. are these voices available on the internet. Ozzy Osbourne R2D2 etc? or do i have to shell out £5 on a CD from ebay.? |

A much better idea is to buy this sort of stuff from the creator. Anything 'free' from the web, or even a £5 CD from eBay, is taking money away from the people who deserve it. _________________ Tim |

It would be better if you bought the "Voices" and other files you need from the correct site rather than supporting people who sell illegal software in breech of copywrite - try www.tomtom.com for the voices, but please refrain from asking for this "For Free" on this web site - Mike |

He didn't actually say he wanted the 'official 'tomtom voices! Why must fools jump in as soon as someone mentions getting something for free and assume they're wanting to rip someone off? There are plenty of tomtom voices on offer for free.
I got a set of 'celeb' voices that aren't on the tomtom site, most are pretty poor imitations that sound b*gger all like Darth Vader, a Dalek etc. Try your local friendly bit torrent search site. (or do a google) |

No, he didn't say he wanted the official TomTom ones, but even the others are created by someone and then sold, in general. The ones mentioned, such as Ozzy Osbourne and R2D2, etc., aren't free.

As for fools jumping in....bit torrent says it all, really. Generally known as a collection of sites which 'share' commercial applications. _________________ Tim |
