I've just bought one of these receivers but am unable to get GPS fix.
I've tried for hrs on end but still nothing.
Used a Polestar and got fix stright away.
Both Tomtom and Route66 report no gps signal. |

Have you got the green light flashing on the receiver? Give a bit of detail about your setup. |

Use a Nokia 6600 with both Tomtom Mobile 5 and Route66 2005.
I'm getting blue flashing light to tell me Bluetooth is OK but steady green light on receiver and both programs saying "No GPS signal"
I've tried for 3, 4 and 5 hrs at a time but still nothing.
Think I've got a bad one and going to send back if nobody can help. |

The Holox 321 has the green light flashing when a fix is achieved. Best to take the receiver outdoors in clear sky to get the first fix. It took me ~20 min initially with a clear sky. My friends took more than one attempt with cloud cover. Subsequent fixes are in the order of seconds. Your pairing should be OK due to the blue flashing, you should see the yellow/blue disc spining in the TTM config if the com port setting is correct.
Other than this, it is a very good receiver that I have used for 3 months now. |

..and a PS.
Ensure you maintain the BT pairing between the phone and the receiver throughout. If pairing is lost, the receivers power saving will kick in after 10 mins and will shutdown.
Wish we could edit. |
