I guess that this may have been posted before, but I guess the answer probably evolves as time goes on.
I have an O2 XDA 2i, which I have just purchased a generic GPS receiver for. What is the most popular/best value navigation software to complement this ?
Memory is not an issue as I always have a 1GB SD card installed.

Ideally I would like to keep the cost below £100. It would mainly be used in a car/4x4, but if it works whilst away from a vehicle that would also be great, although I guess the GPS receiver will define that more than the software.

Thanks in advance

Lee

The most common satnav software are:

TomTom Navigator 5 (my choice)
Destinator
Navman Smart St
Navigon
Mio Map

They are more but that is the most popular road mapping software that can be run on a PDA.

You need to distinguish memory from storage. You still need onboard memory for your programmes to run, 64mb is recommended.

What sort of GPS do you have? Bluetooth?

Personally I would advise you buy a software only copy of TomTom Navigator 5.
