GPSSlim236 not working with Pocket Streets

Just got my GPSSlim236 and configured it on my HP 4150 Ipaq. BT works well and GPS Viewer is working. COM6 port is used with 38400 baud as per manual.
However I am using Microsoft Pocket Streets, not the best choice I agree. I can't get it to talk to my GPS. When I select COM6 as the port and then click on the GPS Info -> Start, it says "COM port is available but GPS device not found".
Can someone please guide me in the right direction.

Never mind, I figured it out. I had GPSViewer running in the background and therefore Pocket Streets could not connect.
