Is there a solution to the HotSync log problem?

Like everyone else, when I upgraded to TT5, my HotSync always finishes with an error and the log shows:

-- Possible database overwrite problem. Backing up database great_britain_plus-6b255650.mac to file C:\Program Files\palm\WeaverJ\Backup\great_britain_plus-6b255650_mac.PDB. The file contained database great_britain_plus-6B255650.mac data.

I was under the impression that one of the 'patches' fixed this, but I am now on 5.201 and it still happens.

I have lived with it so far, but decided that its finally time to fix it.. So, is there a solution to this?

Yes.

Solution is to use a file manager (eg FileZ) to change file attributes of the offending files NOT to backup.

They aren't important and simply recreate themselves if lost, so a backup isn't really necessary.
