How to create my own POI's for tomtom nav?

I've been using tomtom for a while now, but at times i wish there were a few more POI's avilable for other companies that arent listed in the site list (mainly stores to do with motorbikes, main dealers etc)

I'm willing to do the work to create the POI's for everyone to benefit. Ideally I'd like to discover a way of taking the info from websites about store location or more likely post codes, and then convert the data so tomtom can use it.

So how do I do it, and whats involved? Like i say there are a few POI's i'd like to contribute so sveryone can get the benefit.
