I think ive found the answer but it involves fw upgrade. Reluctant to do this as i void the warrenty on my mio168 by being to desperate to wait for things so i just hope its not the only work around. I suppose i will just have to wait for a tomtom update that will fix this but i feel my warrenty may expire first. 8O |

Hi, you need WinFast. Install the prog on the PPC, let it get a signal and "talk" with the gps, you'll hear some beeps, the exit it. You should have the GPS bar back. If you have any probs search the forum for "how to install TT on medion 9500" or something similar.
Hope it helped. Good luck
Ps it worked for me when I installed TT on a pna. Know I have a 168 clone and still use winfast after a reset. |

Hi,
I tried to load WinFast onto my Mio 269, it wouldn't run, shame really because I would quite like to have the sat info.
See you,

Oh, and I forgot to mention, the satellite information was there when I first installed it, but went away. So it does work but something must have changed, how strange is that? Probably some sort of strange setting.
