Has anyone experimented with changing the voice available on ViaMichelin ?

It’s possible to obtain many different voices for TomTom, and replace the standard ones, but these are only small sound files, and so it should be possible to take the ViaMichelin ones and replace them with others.

Of course, in practice it might be far more difficult, so I’m wondering if anyone has tried it.

Problem with this is that up to v3 vM used its own file structure for the sound files so that made it difficult. From v3 (and I assume v4) all of the sound is in a single database file so you would first need to be able to access this file and then go from there.

Thanks, elan, I've reverted to 2.5 so I'll play a little with the files and see what I can do.
