|

Strange question, but, I have a mate who regularly flies in a light aircraft with a friend.
Is it possible to display altitude (some other GPS systems show this) on our beloved Tom Tom ?
I expect it would have to be done with some 3rd party add on software of some kind
I've seen the GO playing media files so I spose anythings possible !
Any ideas ??

Scaredycat had a program for that I think.
HOWEVER GPS altitude is not reliable enough for aviation unless you use WAAS/EGNOS (which the GO doesn't support).
Use a Pocket PC or Handheld with dedicated aviation software instead. _________________ Lutz

LMFAO !!
No, he flies in a plane. He doesn't pilot it !
They use motorways for navigation and he just wondered if it was at all possible.

Better off getting aviation software something like Colin Porteus software for Pocket PC. _________________ iPhone5, TomTom, Google maps, Navfree, Viewranger and Apple Maps (ekk) |
