Turning Off Traffic on Tom Tom One

I have used up my one months free traffic trial on my Tom Tom One, and cannot now remove the little red cross that appears in the top right hand corner of the main screen. I know it's only a little red cross - but I'd rather not have it there!!

I have tried many things, but cannot get back into the 'TRAFFIC' screen to 'DISABLE' the system, which will in turn remove the red cross.

Any ideas - help - guidance very much appreciated.

I activated my trial but am too getting the red cross, does anyone know how to get rid and what does it mean
