Toshiba e740 + BC 307 + TT 5

Hi all! I have found this very nice forum throught google and i'm glad to see a private section for globalsat products!
I'm using my toshiba e740 plus bc 307 with tom tom 5.21, the last update. I have some problem to get sat on a cold start. I have putted my external antenna out of home and waited.. waited so long as 30 minutes. After that, i had like 7 sats on my screen, good for me. I have made the same thing using SiRF Demo application on my notebook using the cf adaptor (first i made a factory reset to test better). Nothing.. another 30 minutes!
I was thinking that tom tom 5 works worst than my old tom tom 3.. but after hardware resetting my pda, reinstalling tom tom 3.07 (latest version) and upgrading gps drivers.. the same problem happened too!
Now i'm looking to see the firmware version of the SiRF and take an upgrade in some way! I don't know really where is the problem. Any ideas??
