Can anyone help.. ive got tom tom 5 on my spv c500. It all works ok but
whenever I exit then all my favourites, preferences etc are not saved.
One of my friends has it on his and it works fine..
Does anyone have any ideas on this??
Ive tried the usual reinstalling, doing a system reboot on the c500.
Any other suggestions |

It sounds like your map cfg file (.e.g. great-britain-map.cfg) is set at read-only... this is where your home location and favourites etc are stored. However, I didn't think your preferences are stored here (as they're not map-specific) hence it may well be one of your other files that's read-only. Check this one first though.

Just use File Manager on your phone - navigate to the file and click Properties(?) where it will tell you, amongst other things, whether the read-only flag has been set.
