|
|
Am looking at a the Mobile 5 to run with a SE P910i and have a few questions:
I've heard that the TomTom only allows 29 or 40 POI's to be uploaded is this correct or am off track ? If this correct, are there any tweaks to get around this ?
I have a 1GB card in my phone, can I copy the software across from the memory stick supplied by TomTom to the one in my phone ?
What does anyone running this set up think of it ?
Thanks for any help offered. |

Hi there,
I've been running TTM5 on my P910i for ages now.
I have not come across any limitaions to the number of POIs allowed, although the opnly POIs I have added are the separate speed camera files (to give warnings with their speeds). You can always remove POIs you don't use (and you have them on your original Memory card)
The only limit I have found is with the number of alarm sounds (limited to 15). I made my own voice speed warning file from some sounds files on the internet.
I love TTM5 on the P910i as it's great having the touch screen. Also because the P910i can handle multiple bluetooth devices, you can have your Bluetooth GPS AND your headset connected at the same time. |

It's not the number of POIs that's limited per se, but rather the number of POI files...
Hence why if you hit the limit then you will have to look at combining files, which will necessitate the use of a common graphic/image (and warning) for all.
