Hello
If i want to restore my original version 5.41 is this possible?
I updated it to 5.42 without backing up at that point:( ,and fiddled around with voice prompts and all that, thinking i could just restore it back to my original, but when i came to the restore prompt it says it cannot find a back up on my system although its sat there in my documents.
I can obvoiusly make a back up now but it won't as it was when i downloaded the update, or is it possible to have a clean re-install of the update?
help please!!
Thanks |

Just restore to your 5.4.1. back up and then reinstall 5.4.2. firmware. In future I would recommend taking back ups manually (assuming you are competent in the use of windows explorer) by creating a folder with a meaningful name e.g.
"My Documents\TT BackUps\After loading 5.4.2"
and then just open the SD Card, 'Select All', Copy, then open the new folder and Paste.
To restore you simply Select All on the SD Card, Delete, then Select All in your back up folder, copy and paste to the root of your SD Card. |

Phew !!
thanks, I thought I'd ruined it!
I've done a proper back-up now, I think I've learned my lesson - not.
thanks again |
