Hi,
I have a Xda-mini PDA and a XAiOX Wonde-XL Bluetooth GPS. I am trying to connect both and it is not working propely. When I install the BT GPS, my PDA finds it, but when I will setup the COM PORT in the Flip-Down Menu, there is no one! The list is empty. Then I click OK, appears in th COM-Port menu, BT GPS().
I tried to connect with TomTom, and it can not find a GPS. I tried then the TomTom GPS Driver: nothing. Yesterday, i used the softwsre GPSdash2. In the Configure, Auto Detect Settins, it finds my GPS in this setup:
Serial Port: COM0
Baud Rate: 4800
Chipset: Unknown
Protocol: NMEA
After that, it works with GPSdash2, but don't work with Mapopolis or TomTom.
I don't understend why COM0. How can I have the GPS in the rigth port?? I tried everything (spent a lot of hours in Google, Forum.. ). Please, can someone help me? I read your TomTom for Dummys, but I think my problem is with port.
Thank you very, very much in advance, |
