|
|
Hi,
I've just bought TTN5 Software and maps of Western Europe for my Holuk GPSmile 60 and have a 1gb card in it.
I've installed the GB maps no problem, but when i want to put the 9mb postcode file on it, it takes a couple of seconds, looks like its copying it over then says installation complete, without copying anything over. It does exactly the same thing when i tried to copy other maps over, the 400+mb maps of germany austria and switzerland took about 20 seconds before saying installation complete and nothing going over, the only thing it does in each case is create the folder on the storage card.
Any ideas?? |

Are you using a card reader? if not try one, its much more reliable and faster, if you are using one does the PC offer anything in way of an error message? Mike |

I seriously recommend the use of a card reader for doing this, no explanation as to why it did this appart from gremlins, like my main home PC, full software re-install required on my return home from work - Mike |

i think i'll be investing in one shortly, partly because its so painful waiting the hours that it takes to transfer files over...
Cheers for the help! |
