CF_CARD GENERIC missing from ttn 5 menu

Hi,
I used to run ttn5 on my Acer N50 using a bluetooth Gps. I decided to switch to a CF card gps.
When I tried the first time to set up to the cf card gps I had something like "CF_CARD GENERIC " in the other cable NMEA GPS menu. I clicked on it and started the set up, made a cock up, decided to start again but CF_CARD GENERIC is now missing from the menu.
I have been going round in circles trying to get it back but cannot do so.
I have done a hard reset and full install but it is still missing.
Can anyone help me get it back into the menu again please. All the other items seem to be there.

It's not in my menu either. Try wired NMEA and then go through all the available com ports in turn until it starts
