Tom Tom One - Not recognised by computer!

Hi

I bought myself a Tom Tom One for Christmas. I would like to add Safety Camera info but my computer - running Windows ME - won't recognise the unit. I've tried installing the Windows 98 USB driver on the supplied CD but it won't install. Tried installing 98 driver via Tom Tom website - think it intalled but no luck - the A:\ drive keeps chirping. Any ideas folks?

Make sure your Tom Tom One is connected to your computer & switched on then go to Start/ Control Panel/ Add Hardware then follow the Wizard & it should find your Sat Nav.

Thanks very much. It turns out that my PC was missing various USB files! After hours of head scratching and internet searching I managed to recover these and now everything works fine. Cheers.
