just wondered whether other tt5 useres preferred to have the tt5 navigation view as normal or rotated to a 'widescreen' type format on the PDA?
personally i prefer the widescreen view as it seems to make the map look larger than normal |

One of the big advantages of the landscape view is that the print is much larger - I can actually read it when I'm driving!

Always lanscape on my HP4700. It also makes it easier to see out of the window as it hugs the dashboard more closely. |

Portrait definitely. Where my pda is mounted is below the level of the screen so it doesn't obstruct the view in either format (vent level in an Audi A4).
It's far more natural to view my pda in portrait as that's how I use it throughout the rest of the day - it's constantly on view on my desk as my appointments' diary, contacts' list etc.
When used with TomTom I prefer see more of what is ahead (portrait) than what is to the side (landscape). |

I've also compared the two, they are not the same on my Dell X3i. |
