Are tomtom aware that to enter Wales you have to Pay!!!
I'm not going to go into the reasons ('cos there are far too many to mention, least of all to get out of England. ).
What I'm trying to say is why does it not recognise the M4 or M48 as being a toll road between Bristol and Newport ???
Any suggestions

The M4 is only a one way toll road, you have to pay to enter Wales but theres no charge into mainland Britian....No sure about M48 |

I have the newest version of the TomTom 5 Great Britain map (v632) and it DOES include the Severn Bridge as a toll road - it warns me of a congestion charge each time I try to route across it into Wales. It also knows it is one-way as it does not warn you when leaving Wales.

Slightly off topic but ..... Does evreybody else's TT warn of "congestion charge" when what it means is a toll? According to TT I have to pay "congestion charge" to use the Dartford Crossing, when it is really a toll. Congestion charges only apply to central London.
I know it sounds pedantic but when I am setting up a route from Kent I often have to use the Dartford Crossing (thats OK) but I don't want to use central London. However the screen asking me to accept or reject does not tell me which it is referring to. |
