But as we’re losing ad-revenue from this then why not make a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!

I am fairly new to computers and very new to GPS systems. I am also in the not so young age group so please don't get to technical for me. I have a Navman iCN 520 with an SD card that as the mapping for the UK on. One of my main reasons for getting the navman was because I could download speedcam info onto the unit (the guy in the shop told me!).
I did a download as per the instructions for the version 3 software. on the Pocket GPS site BUT,
They have changed the file from csv to asc (this means nothing to me), so now I can download the information, but it does not show up on my iCN 520.
Can some kind soul, help out a not so tech savvy GRANDDAD, Please
Thanks for any help that you can give.
Phil Veasey, in the UK
Hi.
Download the camera files, open the file, double click csv files, double click other, unzip each file and save to a folder of your choice. Then go to that folder, double click csv, double click other, and there you will have each unzipped file, one at a time right click a file, highlight open with and select notepad, remove the top line, (Longitude,Latitude,Name) save, do this for each file, then open your smart ST and transfer to your 520 in the normal way.
