Can anyone tell me how I can view which local area I am in using TomTom 5 iin Navigator view.

Yes I know! I asked the quesiton and stated that I wanted this function in map view - but I really want it in Navigation view - will it work this way?

No. You can zoom out using minus sign on screen but it soon autozooms back - another Tom Tom "improvement". AFAIK there is no facility to name the area or region where you are.

But am I right in thinking that you won't get sat nav directions? If so you will know where you are but wont know where you are going. Or have I got that wrong?
