I've upgraded my TT go original to the latest software 5.420 and I just noticed on the tomtom website you can download (and pay) for new maps.
I'm already registered with tomtom and was just about to send the money when I thought "I assume these are the latest GB maps, full postcode search etc?"
With problem's users get with changing anything with the go's I thought I would just ask on here first, has anyone paid downloaded the maps from Tomtom ok and had any problems or is it pretty straigh forward?
I assume we get a link to download from? _________________ Regards Steve :-) |

They will be the latest version, but unless they've changed the download package in the last few days, they forgot to bundle the postcodes file with the map and will send you an email with a link to get them. |

Are you buying the the same map again? If so, you should wait till after Christmas. TomTom may offer upgrades at a cheaper price.
The current maps are priced as "new" maps for people wanting to extend their coverage. _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)
