navman pin300 (mio 186) resetting problems

hi there, I have a new (2 days old) navman pin 300, the battery is fully charged on my unit, I have got a few satnav programs running on it all fine, however when I sit and play basic games it seems to freeze and do a hard reset, I know I can do a backup from activsync to restore everything but surly this isn't right ?

any suggestions ?

pin300, 512mb kingston SD card with all programs / games loaded to it, running windows 4 and with the sound wav update
