TomTom Go 500 Purchase?

Hi All,

I've recently found that my iPAQ and bluetooth GPS devices are not best friends anymore and I've been looking for a replacement. After much hunting about I have found that the TomTom Go 500 has just about all the features I need. However I have a few questions...

1. Is the handsfree function any good?
2. Can I easily install the speed camera DB on it and will I need to install an app like CheckPOI?
3. I have noticed that some Homebrew applications for the TomTom GO exist, are these any good and are they listed anywhere?
4. Is the TomTom online service (traffic, etc) any good?

Other than that I just need to know if it's a good buy?

Amazon.co.uk have them for about £370... any other good places?
