This may be a silly question, but its my first GPS unit and so far its been great. I have downloaded the speed camera's and used POI edit to save it properly and then used the free Garmin software to load it onto the i3 - which all worked well. It only shows the closest 20 or so speed camera's if I go into the Custom POI folder on the unit, but I assume thats normal even though I can't find a mention of it in the manual. I tried installing additional POI - like Lloyds banks, Jet petrols stations and such which would be useful for work and I can get them to all load onto the i3, but each upload deletes any previous POI I have in the custom folder and I can find no way to specify where to put them. Is there any way to do this, or can you only load one POI file at a time into the custom folder? Also, I didn't get a CD or DVD with my Garmin i3, but I just downloaded the drivers and software off the Garmin website but was there meant to be a CD in the box and does it have anything of use - in other words is it worth calling Garmin about and waiting on hold forever? I'd really appreciate any help from anybody who has more experience with the Garmin i3. Many thanks

Unfortunately, you don't describe precisely what you have done. Nevermind, because the solution is close at hand. So may I suggest you have a look at the sticky " Garmin i3 streetpilot for dummies" and go through it very carefully, again. Also, I recommend a review of http://www.MaFt.co.uk/garmin/download.htm ... and then look at some of the other postings. Good luck.

you need to put all your poi files (csv's) into the same folder. when you upload it automatically removes current poi's. however, if you have 10 csv files in the folder you 'point to' with poi loader then it will upload all 10 to the i3. each file will appear as a seperate 'menu' in the i3.
