Dconnis BC 307

I have a Dconnex Bc 307 compact flash GPS working with an Ipaq 2210 with tom tom 3 after variying amounts of time of working it freezes up. I have reinstalled tt3 and done hard reset and soft reset changed sd card all to no avail has anyone got any ideas?

I "bit the bullet" and purchased a new CF card (holux gm 270 U) which plugged in on the same settings and my sat nav is restored!! If anyone else has this issue it is worth saving loads of grief. This particular one cost just over £30.00 on ebay and comes highly recommended.
