Angry I've put this in the Beginner's Lounge because there isn't a Stupidity Forum.

I've got the kit, the maps and the cameras. What I haven't got is the sense to obey a 40mph limit just because I was in a line of traffic all doing 47mph.

Trouble is it's not just £60 and 3 points, it's the increase in insurance x 2 because I insure two cars. Stupid, stupid, stupid boy!

Censored I think I'll give myself a good kicking.

OK, rant over, I feel better now. Angry

I've seen it mentioned in these forums that cameras are set to the road speed + 10% + 2mph. On the road you were on you would have to exceed 46mph.

Clocked at 47!

Don't you just hate it when there's no-one else to blame but yourself? Embarassed

And I have the same philosophy as yourself regarding journey times etc. Time to start practising what you and I preach, I think!
