Can I possibly get an instruction manual in PDF format for a Tom Tom Go 300 for my sister who doesn't live near me and doesn't own a PC? _________________ Navman iCN 520 |

If you go to TomTom's Website, the Download tab (on left hand side), will take you to the Upgrades page.
On the right are the manuals. _________________ Richard

Sorry to bombard this forum with inane questions, but here’s another thing that’s bugging me.
Is the manual available as a pdf?
I followed the advice above, registering on the tomtom website etc, but it just leads me to the online manual – and for some reason it doesn’t allow me to print more than the front page!
My PC is at work, so whilst that’s fine for downloading stuff etc, I’d like to be able to read the manual at home whilst playing around with the unit!! |

Sorry, failed to mention I have a TT ONE.
Any idea if there's a pdf for this? |

Nope, I've not been able to find one - maybe you'll have to email TT and ask them?
I couldn't print more than the first page either.
The only get-round I can think of is that you could use the standard Windows "print screen" routine to print it - if you don't know it, you:
1) Get the page on screen as best you can.
2) Press the Print Screen key (it's above the cursor keys and to the right of the function keys on a standard keyboard).
3) Open up Word and start a new, blank document.
4) Go to Edit/Paste (or ctrl-V) to paste an picture of the screen exactly as it was.
5) Repeat umpteen times, then print the Word .doc! |

If you go to the ONE manual download page below
http://www.tomtom.com/lib/doc/one/ttone_manual.htm
and then right click with mouse on ENGLISH(UK), select Convert link target to Adobe PDF & it will convert it then you can print it out fully. |

That might work if you have the full version of Adobe Acrobat on your system, I cetainly don't get that option on my right-click menu (with only Acrobat Reader installed). |

The manual is mainly describing the firmware, not the hardware. So it doesn't matter if it's for the ONE or not, surely? |
