Hi All
I think this is the right place to post this question.
I have a PDA running pocket 2002 (200mhz) so quite fast or was a couple of years ago. It sits in a box doing nothing, so i Thought i'd use it for sat nav. It has an SD slot on the side and a compact flash slot on top. I'm not worried about software at the moment but i cant find the power supply just yet... So I need
A PDA holding mount which will power the PDA 5v 2amp center pin+, I'm not worried about amplification just yet, I think the pda may be loud enough.
A GPS reciever for either the CF or SD slot.
I'm almost a Scotsman so it needs to be as cheap as possible and hopefully close to Newcastle to get the parts.
Help Please
Thanks |

Hi,
What exact model of PDA do you have? We need to know what memory etc it has.
I can probably tell you now that it will not run the latest versions of the sat nav packages, however it should be able to run some of the earlier ones such as the original version of TomTom, if you can get hold of it! |

Hello
It's a Cassiopeia E200 with 64meg on board and 128meg compact flash if needed ... Although I do have a 256meg SD in my phone i could use if needed. As far as I can tell it does use the ARM processor, and I know it deff. runs PPC2002 |
