hi i recently bought a gnav10 and work as a lorry driver and want to know where i can download speed camera locations if thats possible and also bridge height and locations. After reading through some of the forums it looks like maybe i should have got a tom tom, but i guess im stuck with what ive got. Thankx in advance for any help. |

If you look just a few posts below you will see how some people have managed to load the cameras.
Low bridges are more difficult as you will have to find a database that lists them - there is one but you have to pay - suggest you do a search in "Retailers to buy from or avoid" forum as there has been some posts about that lately
You will not be able to plot a route that automatically avoids low bridges. the best you can hope for is a warning, and, unfortunately, with the GNAV10 it will be the same warning as you get for all the other POIs, including the cameras. So when you get it you wont know whether you need to slow down to the speed limit or stop and do a U-turn
I suspect that with your requirements you would have been better with a more sophisticated unit like Tom Tom. But even Tom Tom wont automatically plot a route that avoids low bridges. |

i have a poi for low bridges, if used with poi warner u can have alerts aswell,cant remember were i got it from but it aint bad, prob best one around
