TomTom Traffic V Navman TMC

I want to but a new system this weekend (want to make the most of the argos 20% savings :D) and have narrowed it down to either the TT500/700 or navman 550TM. The main difference being traffic warnings, which is best? , TMC is free I think but Traffice cost( is that correct).

Do either work well?

Are either of then worth the extra money????

If not I'll just buy a tomtom one!!!!

They both use the same data source i.e. iTIS's TMC Data Service.

TomTom deliver it via GPRS on subscription, Navman deliver it via FM and the licence fee has been built into the cost.

The data however is the same.
