HP RZ1710 - what works best please ?

Hi there, my partner has a HP Ipaq RZ1710 and would like to use it in the car with some form of cabled GPS reciever, and a good mount (that doesn't keep falling off) and preferably Tom Tom 5 Navigator software with all the update packs.

Q: can anyone please give me any advice going on where to obtain and what items through previous experience anyone would reccommend.

It's easy for me, as my Vectra has SatNav already installed...
