I am new to the forum so apologies if this subject has come up somewhere else.
I am looking to buy one of the above and would like some views from you guys on which one you feel is best as I have seen the Go has better sound but the One has better reception.
Because of the reception issue I am tempted to go for the One but would really appreciate your views, especially from anyone who has had the opportunity to try them both.
Thanks

45 views so far and no responses.
Come on folks I would really appreciate your opinions on this, that is part of the reason I joined the forum. |

If those are the two issues that concern you then go for the ONE.
The woman's voice is appalling and makes us laugh, but the chap is fine though not my type!! I think the sound quality is perfectly acceptable and you can set it to speak more loudly if you are driving faster and softer when approaching roundabouts etc.
Fix times are brilliant and it is bliss not having to think about whether you have got a fix or not.
I think this is the first question I have ever answered . . . now you know why!

Why? You are the first person I have ever heard complain about the default female voice. Sounds fine to me? _________________ Darren Griffin |

she gets me to where i need to be....LMAO.
I thought long and hard about which to get but price was always the factor. As soon as the ONE came out i compaired it against the i3 Garmin and decided to pay the extra for the touch screen. Turns out that the Argos deal makes it £24 dearer for the time being than the i3. The 300 was too expensive for me.
my vote is the ONE. |

We liked the female voice on TomTom3 . . . nicely authoritative and unlikely to lead us over the cliff top, but the voice we have on TomTomONE is really dappy. I am sure her skirt is too short, and she is far too busy applying her makup to be giving us proper directions. Wouldn't trust Hugh out with her on his own!!! :0)))

Thanx for the replies folks.
Decided to go for the TomTom One, the offer price at Argos was too tempting and the improved satellite reception was a big plus for me.
